We Are Oran Mor Artisan Meadery
We are a small-batch Artisan Meadery with Tasting Rooms in the Sellwood Neighborhood of Portland, and in Roseburg, Oregon. We are dedicated to hand-crafting a delicious variety of Meads inspired by Ancient traditions and drawing from the abundance of the land. Each of our Meads is a blend of local and varietal honeys, fermented, aged, and blended to perfection with local seasonal fruit, herbs, and spices.
Oran Mor balances art, craft, history, and modern fermentation techniques to bring a new spin to the most ancient of beverages. Established in 2015, Internationally Award Winning Oran Mor combines fresh Umpqua Valley and Pacific Northwest Fruit with Apiary Direct Local and Varietal Honeys to create unique and delicious libations that will challenge you to redefine everything you think you know about Meads and Honey Wines.
Tasting Rooms
Oran Mor Mead's Portland Tasting Room is open Year-Round, Wednesday through Sunday, and is always family-friendly.
We offer Mead, Cider and Beer, non-alcoholic Shrubs as well as a beautiful Seasonal menu curated by our Chef.
Now Serving Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays in Portland.

What is Mead?
Mead in it's simplest form is a divine fermentation of Honey, Water and Yeast. But we humans rarely keep anything simple, so throughout history we have continued to be infinitely creative in our Mead making. Fruits, spices, herbs, flowers, and grains have been added creating many different types of Mead.
Are you Family Friendly?
You bet! Our tasting room is designed to be open to all members of your family, including your four-legged ones! (yes, Dogs are welcome with good manners...as long as they stay off the furniture!)

Is there Food Available?
We have several sharing plates, as well as a variety of panini sandwiches, salads and occasional specials.
We have gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian options. Let us know your requests and we will let you know what we can do to accomodate!

Do I Need to Make a Reservation?
We love walk-ins during our regular business hours, however we always recommend making a reservation during events and for large parties as seating is limited and we want to ensure you have the best possible service and experience with us.
